What is VoucherTails?

VoucherTails is an independent pet brand marketplace for the UK. We connect small, passionate pet product brands directly with dog owners, cat owners, and other pet lovers who want something a bit different from what you find on the big retail shelves. Every product listed has been reviewed by our team before it goes live.

Is VoucherTails free to use for shoppers?

Yes, completely free. You can browse, search, and click through to buy any product without creating an account or paying anything. When you click 'Buy Now', you're taken directly to the brand's own website to complete your purchase.

Who sells the products?

Every product on VoucherTails is listed and sold by the independent brand itself. We are a discovery platform — we don't hold stock, process payments, or fulfil orders. Your purchase is made directly with the brand you buy from.

Why independent brands?

Big retailers carry the same mass-market brands everywhere. Independent brands are often smaller, more innovative, and more passionate about what goes into their products. VoucherTails gives them a shop window, and gives you access to products you might never have found otherwise.

How do I buy a product?

Click the 'Buy Now' button on any product card or product detail page. You'll be taken directly to that brand's website in a new tab, where you can add the product to your basket and complete your purchase with the brand directly.

Can I trust the brands listed here?

We review every brand application and every product listing before it appears on the marketplace. We check that the brand is legitimate, that their product descriptions are accurate, and that their website is live and functional. That said, VoucherTails is a discovery platform — your purchase is made with the brand, not with us, so we encourage you to read the brand's own terms before buying.

What if the price on the brand's site is different from what I see here?

Brands set and update their own prices. The price shown on VoucherTails is entered by the brand and may not always reflect real-time changes. Always check the final price on the brand's website before completing your purchase.

Do you cover delivery costs?

Delivery is handled entirely by each brand and varies by brand, location, and order value. Check the brand's website for their delivery terms before buying.

Can I return or get a refund?

Returns and refunds are governed by the brand's own returns policy. Since your purchase is with the brand directly, you'll need to contact them. Under UK consumer law you generally have the right to a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

Do I need to create an account to shop?

No account needed to browse or buy. You can sign up for new brand notifications with just your email address if you'd like, but it's entirely optional.

For Brands

How do I list my products on VoucherTails?

Click 'List Your Brand' on the homepage or go to vouchertails.com/brand/register. Fill in your brand details and create an account. Once registered, you can log in to your Brand Dashboard and start submitting products straight away.

Is it free to list?

Yes — listing your brand and submitting products is currently free. We may introduce optional paid features in future, but any changes will be communicated clearly in advance and will never affect existing free listings without notice.

What happens after I submit a product?

Your product enters a 'Pending review' state. Our team checks that the listing is accurate, the product is appropriate for the marketplace, and the buy link works correctly. We aim to review submissions within 2 working days. You'll be able to see the status (Pending, Live, or Rejected) in your Brand Dashboard.

Why might a product be rejected?

Common reasons include: the product description is too vague or inaccurate, the buy link doesn't work or goes to the wrong product, the product doesn't suit our pet-focused marketplace, or the listing contains misleading health or safety claims. If your product is rejected, we'll leave a note explaining why, and you're welcome to correct the listing and resubmit.

Can I edit a product after it's been approved?

Yes. You can edit any product from your Brand Dashboard at any time. Editing an approved product will move it back to 'Pending review' while we check the changes, and it will temporarily be removed from the public marketplace until re-approved.

What products are not allowed?

We do not allow products that make unsubstantiated veterinary or health claims, products containing prohibited substances, counterfeit or unlicensed goods, or anything that poses a safety risk to animals. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.

Privacy & Trust

Is my data safe?

We take privacy seriously and do not sell your personal information to any third party. We use essential cookies to keep the site running and analytics cookies to understand how people use the marketplace. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What data do you collect from shoppers?

If you sign up for new brand notifications, we store your email address. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, search terms, device type) to help us improve the site. We don't require you to create an account, so we collect very little data about most visitors.

What data do you hold about brand accounts?

We store the email address, brand name, and contact name you provide when registering. Passwords are stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text. Product listings you submit are stored so we can display them on the marketplace.

I've spotted incorrect information — what should I do?

Please email hello@vouchertails.com with details of what you've found. For product listing issues (wrong price, broken link, misleading description) we'll contact the brand and, if necessary, remove the listing until it's corrected.

I'm a brand and I have a problem with my account or listing.

Email hello@vouchertails.com with your brand name and a description of the issue. If it's urgent (e.g. a buy link is broken), we'll prioritise getting it sorted quickly.
